On Real Estate & Art: Hi. I am Elise Francesca. I thought it might be time to introduce myself. I’ve spent the last six years growing a real estate brokerage, working alongside the broker (and an amazing team), learning every aspect of the business and what makes it “work.” Growing a real estate brokerage (we now have over 2500 agents all across the southeast and Texas!) and opening an art gallery might seem like two very distinct endeavors, but they share several core principles that can relate to each other - especially with my vision for what another art gallery in the state of RhodeIsland could do for the community.
Let's look at them, side by side:
Both require a well-defined identity to resonate with your target audience.
With Erase, we welcome creativity in the sense of here, you can “start over” or “Erase.”
Our workshops for adults and children foster a sense of curiosity and an element of exploration that can be especially lost today.
Real estate, as we’ve taught our agents, is heavily built on relationships and follow up —agents, clients, developers, and investors.
Similarly, an art gallery thrives on building connections with our artists, our instructors collectors, curators, and other galleries….Both businesses need to foster partnerships and word-of-mouth marketing through a powerful, shared experience. Then there’s the high-value transactions…Navigating these requires a thorough understanding of pricing, market trends, and negotiation.
So, what does this mean? Looking back on six months since ppening Erase, there is still a lot to learn and so much to share.
Please join us for our first group show, celebrating all that we are about - over 30 artists and what they love about art. “Love, Art.” Opens Thursday, February 20 6:30PM Opening Reception. See you at Erase.
